Pure dedication and teamwork were displayed on Sunday when 19 devoted parents braved the rain & wind and paid the whopping £6.50 to get across the bridge! to bring their little Knights to Chepstow for a very exciting game of tag rugby.
2 games were played simultaneously, 1 game consisting of 5 players & the other game with 6. Chepstow used a mixture of their under 7's and under 8's to make up the numbers.
The players Arm wrestled to decide who would kick off. Chepstow had nothing on the mighty George Powell who won hands down! (See what I did there!!) winning Kingswood the advantage.
Kingswood started with very strong defensive lines and showed some really impressive tagging in both games. Having 5 & 6 players in the teams rather than the usual 4 meant that the ball was being passed down the line a lot better as shown in training sessions. The attacking side of the game was also very good.
Overall a very enjoyable match and the coaches as ever are extremely proud of their mighty Knights!
