Its a SWEET result

On a harshly cold Sunday morning, the Kingswood u10’s wearing showing no mercy, like the weather, in their teams against Aretians. With gritted teeth and shivering hands the knights marched on. The bold decision to play as two separate teams showed fantastic results as the games went on. Both Blue and Brown team were amazing and performed to top quality showing determination even though it was cold. Kingswood was prepared for a tough battle through are previous history with Aretians and them winning last time we met. Kingswood was determined to keep his new winning spree going for as long as possible. So the battle was on.
Starting of the Blue team played equally great attacking play and defensive play with the scores ending 14-0 and 11-0. In the first game for the Blues some brilliant running and dodging from Adam Bourton (1st and 6th), Jed Hill (2nd, 5th and 9th), Harrison Abram (8th), Blake Shepton (3rd, 4th, 10th and 14th) Corey Page (12th) and Charlie Fry (13h). The Knights confidence and smiles were growing.
The Knights fan group was cold but deliriously loud with excitement and pride.
The Blues second game once again got off to a great start with brilliant defensive play that was astonishing from the star o the end, with Lawson Smith making some great tackles, runs and passing. This created opportunities for his team to score. All showed great teamwork with brilliant passing the lead to Jed Hill (1st, 7th and 11th), Travis Oakley (2nd), Charlie Fry (9th), Max Baker (6th and 10h), Adam Bourton (4th), Blake Shepton (5th) and Corey Page (3rd and 8th) all scoring sunning tries.
The man of the match for the Blue team was given to a well deserved Jed Hill, who scored a total of 7 tries and made some beautiful tackles and runs. A very well done to him.
The Brown team won their two games with final scores of 7-2 and 8-0. They too all showed brilliant teamwork and running to make a difference and keep spirits high on the freezing day. The defensive play was amazing from all. Adding this to great ripping of the ball from James Howarth, Miss Dynamite Eva Willmott’s fantastic running and tackling and brilliant overall play from Dan Brown, Oliver Toomey and Conrad Hamson made a amazing game to watch. All this lead to tries scored by Archie Prewett (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th), and Aidan Pamplin (6th and 7th) in the first game. All the fantastic play was continued by all of the Brown into their second game which was just as brilliant as the first. Tries were scored by Archie Prewett (1st, 4th and 8th), Theo Rodman (5th and 5th) Joel Callicott (2nd and 7th) and Aidan Pamplin (3rd).
The dedicated fan group of the u10’s was once again loud and cheering with pride, as the Knights showed the results of the hard work and determination they have learnt over the past couple of weeks.
The man of the match for the Brown team went to Oliver Toomey for fantastic running and tackling. A very well done to him.
Aretians tried very hard throughout all four games and kept fighting till the end. With some great running that led to them scoring 2 tries.
Brilliant judgment and equality for all teams from referee Barry Pamplin, kept the game flowing and made for a brilliant display of rugby from everyone. Well done and keep it up me babers!
