Kingswood Walking Rugby

On a Sunny / Showery / wet afternoon players from Kingswood RFC Walking Rugby were joined by players from Broad Plain Pioneers and North Bristol; a totalof 28 players for a ,Mutts v Mongrels Barbarian afternoon of walking Rugby. Using the Darchy team selection method (a pack of cards) we had teams playing 5 minutes each way, sometimes in sunny weather and others in pouring showers; with no one wanted to stop playing despite some heavy rain and attempts by the referee to stop. With all the players on an extended pitch for a final session; no one really cared who scored but everyone enjoyed the rugby.
All of those who came along went into the clubhouse afterwards for a drink and food to watch an afternoon of rugby with England's win over Wales.
