Kingswood had their first match against Old Richians, so not a lot was known of this club from Gloucester. We found out that this was only their 2nd or 3rd game of the season. Their inexperience certainly did not show as they started off well with some strong tackles going in from the start.
Kingswood quickly settled and were soon onto the score board and took a hold on the game for the first 10 minutes. This week we were blessed with 15 girls! All chomping at the bit to get onto the pitch to show us what they could do.
There was some superb rucking and counter rucking from Kingswood as they were determined to make the ball theirs for the entire game, only sometimes Old Richians would not let the ball turnover so easily! Eventually though Kingswood ran out victors
A big thank you to some of the U15's that stayed after their training in the morning to shout out encouragement to the girls playing today.
Woody, Fliss, Kat, Kaira and Casey all gave up their time and even had a chat with them at half time on certain aspects they could improve on. Thanks for the help girls!
Well done to all of our girls!
