After a brief discussion between the coaches it was decided the game would be played over four quarters
Kingswood start the game with madeline Chappell making her debut
The game starts well with Gabrielle Norman and Kaira Touray linking up well resulting in a first try from Gabrielle
Winscombe come back quickly from the restart and get a score of their own.
Paige Woodward then carries her great form from our last match into this one with some neat footwork to put the K back in front
Madeline goes in for her first big tackle and slows down a Winscombe attack but they get the ball down after some great handling and support.
A couple of scrums from both sides shows how evenly matched these teams are.
A great tackle from Paige Woodward gives possession back to K with Katie Hodge making a good run but gets caught with a high tackle, she manages to get the offload to Paige Prince who goes on to score.
Winscombe start the 2nd quarter
K fight hard and gain possession only to lose it in the breakdown, Winscombe win a scrum and make some good ground an amazing tackle from Louise Merrifield but good support sees winscombe get another score on the board.

A few good phases from K sees the ball pass through our girls hands with Gabrielle finishing in the corner.
K start the 3rd period but we concede 2 tries in the first few minutes due to handling errors and weakness at the breakdown.
K turn up the pressure with Katie running well and scoring from the halfway line with Kaira and Felicity Jenkins providing support.
Felicity and Katie combine well again with the latter scoring again.

Winscombe score again from a scrum but K show great resilience and fight back with Evie Coombs and Summer Chick both pushing over the gain line with some fantastic runs.
Paige Prince finishes a lovely K move in the corner but her day is ended soon after due to landing heavily on her shoulder.
Winscombe start the final period of the game with their tails up due to their lead but K soon turn the ball over and Gabrelle gets the ball over the line after some great attacking play from the visitors.
K are now playing with a little bit of belief in themselves and Gabrielle and Paige Woodward both score before Winscombe get a score back.
K reply immediately with Felicity finishing a great phase.
The match is delicately balanced with both sides losing possession under pressure, K charge forward but a mistake allows Winscombe to break and score.K keep their heads and with the whole team working for one another and pushing forward we get the ball out to Felicity who touches down in the corner in the last play of the game.
