First Match
Old Bristolians V’s Kingswood

Kingswood win the toss and start with the ball unfortunately they manage to lose it and concede the first try from a well worked attack from Old B’s, this seems to knock Kingswood’s confidence and the first half finishes 4 tries to 2 to Old B’S.
In the second half Kingswood warm up well and gain their confidence with an amazing first tackle from Louise and score a further 5 tries to Old B’s 2. Kingswood go on to win their first match of the festival.
Final score Old Bristolians 6 – Kingswood 7.

Second Match
Nailsea & Backwell V’s Kingswood

Kingswood start with the ball again and manage to keep hold of it and score the first try of the match. They then go 2 tries down to a well drilled Nailsea and Backwell, but Kingswood didn’t let that put them off with Louise running her first try in straight from the starting tap. First half finishes even with both teams scoring 4 tries each.
Nailsea & Backwell’s turn to start and they run the first try of the 2nd half in and Kingswood follow with the same. Both teams showed off fantastic teamwork and were so evenly matched.
Final score Nailsea & Backwell 7 – Kingswood 7.

Third Match
North Dorset V’s Kingswood.

To kick this game off the Ref challenges the captains to a handstand off to decide who will start. Clearly not Kingswood’s strong point. North Dorset start with the ball but Kingswood don’t stand for that and do what they do best and score the first try of the match. The continues with some fantastic running from Kaira and a great tackle from Woody. First half finishes a triumphant 6-0 to Kingswood.
The second half starts with North Dorest managing to pull 1 try back. Again some amazing team work from all the girls and great tackling from Woody. Katie goes on to run a try in from the half way line.
Final score North Dorset 1 – Kingswood 9

Fourth Match
Walcot V’s Kingswood

Kingswood start this game first once again with a try from Woody. Walcot go on show some great skills and score 2 tries but Kingswood don’t let this faze them and show some great team work and ball skills which leads to Gabby scoring to bring the first half to an even close.
Walcot start the second half by firing a try straight in which seems to egg Kingswood on. Kaira goes on to score a try by running straight through Walcot’s defence and planting the ball over the line with three of the Walcot’s players still hanging on. The ball then continues to go backwards and forward between the girls with Kingswood managing to hold up a try attempt by Walcot . The game comes to a nail biting end with Fliss running the length of the pitch to score the winning try with the last play of the game for the Match.
Final Score Walcot 5 – Kingswood 6
