her efforts have the chance to be recognised on a national level
We are extremely proud to announce that Marie Brown has been nominated for the Mitsubishi Motors Volunteer of the Year Awards for her work as a rugby volunteer and her dedication to the game and Kingswood RFC. The awards are part of the Mitsubishi Motors Volunteer Recognition Programme which provides grassroots rugby clubs and the rugby community with opportunities to recognise and reward the volunteers who make up such an integral part of the game. Marie is an integral cog in the Kingswood RFC machine and has won the Kingswood RFC Clubman of the Year award in recent years, but now her efforts have the chance to be recognised on a national level. Marie is one of a select group of rugby volunteers in the area who is invited to attend an awards event held at Bristol Mitsubishi on Feeder Road on the 5th July. At this event, one volunteer will be announced as a Volunteer of the Year finalist – earning them a place at the Mitsubishi Motors Volunteer of the Year Awards night at Twickenham Stadium on Friday 7th September 2018. Three overall winners will be announced on the evening and each one will receive a Mitsubishi car for a year as a thank you for their continued support of the game. Many congratulations Marie, the whole club wishes you the very best of luck, and huge thanks for all that you have done for the club.
