Get ready for one of the biggest days in the Kingswood RFC calendar as the Kingswood RFC Family Funday & Cider Festival returns on Saturday 15th August!

With the gates opening at 12 noon, the club will be transformed into a huge celebration of family entertainment, live music, great food, local businesses — and, of course, an impressive selection of ciders.

This year’s event promises something for everyone, whether you’re coming along with the family, meeting up with friends or simply looking for a fantastic summer day out.

68 ciders to discover!!!!

For cider lovers, there’s plenty to get excited about, with 68 different ciders available to sample throughout the day.

Whether you’re a seasoned cider enthusiast or simply fancy trying something new, there will be plenty of choice.

And if cider isn’t your thing, don’t worry — the Family Funday has plenty more to offer!

Live music all afternoon

The music will be getting underway from around 1pm, with live bands providing the soundtrack throughout the afternoon and into the evening.

The live entertainment continues through until around 9pm, before the party moves into the clubhouse with a DJ taking over for the evening.

So expect plenty of singing, dancing and possibly a few questionable dance moves along the way!

Something for the whole family

The clue really is in the name!

The Family Funday is designed to give families a fantastic day out, with plenty to keep younger visitors entertained.

There will be kids’ rides and an inflatable arena, giving children plenty of opportunities to burn off some energy while parents enjoy the atmosphere.

There will also be a fantastic selection of local stalls, including toys, cakes, gifts and locally produced crafts.

Great food and local businesses

No Kingswood RFC event would be complete without plenty of food!

Visitors can enjoy a selection of amazing local street food, with something to suit different tastes.

Alongside the food and drink, the event provides an opportunity to support local businesses, makers and independent traders.

It’s a great chance to discover something new while supporting businesses from our local community.

More than just a rugby club

Events like the Family Funday & Cider Festival are about much more than having a great day out.

Kingswood RFC is a community club with hundreds of members across minis, juniors, girls’ rugby, senior men’s and women’s rugby, walking rugby, touch rugby, all-inclusive rugby and more.

The club prides itself on its philosophy of “Rugby for all ages and abilities”, and events such as this help bring the wider Kingswood community together.

The Family Funday is also an important fundraising event for the club, helping Kingswood RFC continue to develop its facilities and provide opportunities for the community.

Tickets have been selling quickly, with the club encouraging anyone who hasn’t yet secured their place to get their tickets before the event.

* Under 18s: £2.50 — must be accompanied by an adult
* Adults: £7.00
* Family ticket: £15.00 — 2 adults and 2 children
* Group ticket: £30.00 — 6 adults
