It's way past that time of year Ladies & Gents when Annual Memberships are due, but in the unprecedented circumstances we have all been living with, it just didn't seem right asking people for membership while the plans for returning to our great sport were in the balance.
However, with the RFU Return to Rugby Roadmap whizzing along and that we are hosting our own full return on Saturday 12th with a "Pitch up for Rugby" event we feel now is an appropriate time to launch the membership scheme for the 2020/21 season.

As you will all be aware, the club has been unable to open over the summer so revenue that would normally give us stability has been lost. In the meantime most of the usual and ongoing costs related to the clubhouse and especially the grounds have continued to eat away at any balance we had in reserve.
At the same time we are very conscious that some families have really struggled during lockdown and continue to do so, therefore we have introduced a COVID interim payment of £20 that every playing member must pay in order to return to rugby, with a view to topping up to full membership cost once the season takes off properly with competitive games, etc. If of course you have been lucky enough to have been unaffected financially, then you can of course still pay the full membership fee and even take advantage of the 3 month payment period.

We'll make no bones about it and hope you all understand, but without some membership income the club will be unable to continue providing training facilities.

Attached to this post is a very simple step by step guide on how to renew membership, if you have used GMS before it should be familiar to you and you can easily reset passwords, etc from the website.
If however, you are new to Rugby and/or GMS there will be a one time only Zoom meeting on Wednesday 16th September. Please make every effort to do it via GMS first, but if really stuck please email Tom Lovell on secretarykingswoodrfc@outlook.com and he'll add you to the meeting.
