Injuries Take Their Toll In Opening League Fixture Defeat

Kingswood's Gloucester 2 league campaign got off to a bad start this weekend as last minute injuries saw them lose 2 Backs from the team selected on Thursday. James Hall (Calf) and Ian Kirley (Knee) both became unavailable, which meant a squad reshuffle saw No. 8, Rich Shacklock playing in the Centre.

Added to Ashley Honeywell (Shoulder), Anthony Davies (Ankle), plus Robbie Edwards, Paul Allen and Adam Morris also unavailable due to work commitments, it meant Kingswood were light on the bench at the start of the game.

Kingswood did bag 2 tries during the game, with Liam O'Loughlin and Scott Bailey both crossing the whitewash, but it wasn't enough to secure any points from the game.
