Victory sets up crunch match with 4th place Ross On Wye next week.
Kingswood came from an intercepted try down to comfortably see off struggling Minchinhampton and leapfrog Ross-on-Wye into 3rd spot.
Steve Ridgway grabbed a try as well as the Man of the Match award for his commanding performance at Scrum Half.
"Steve marshalled a great pack, kicked well and upped the tempo when needed" said Captain Joe Jones-Griffiths after the game.
Roland Gabriel, Joe McMullen, Scott Bailey and Mike Wynne also bagged tries for the away side.
Kingswood now sit in 3rd, 8 points clear of Ross-On-Wye, who visit us this Saturday.
