Tries from Ian Kirley and Scott Bailey, coupled with a massive defensive effort, saw the Kingswood earn a draw on a wet and muddy away day at Broad Plain. A tale of 2 halves saw Kingswood try to play expansively in the first half, which saw rewards and a half time lead of 0-14 for the visitors.
The weather played its part as the second half turned into a dog fight. The away sides discipline began to falter, and as the penalty count mounted, Kingswood struggled to clear their lines. In the end the pressure and penalty count were too high and Broad Plain took their chances by driving over from close range on 2 occasions. A hard earned draw was the eventual outcome.
