11 tries for home side in penultimate game of the season.

Kingswood's penultimate game of the season was against Imperial. On the form that Kingswood have been in this season it was set to be a high scoring match, and it didn't disappoint.

Kingswood took the lead with just 5 minutes on the clock when Ben Phillips picked the ball off the back of a Kingswood scrum and ran for half the length of the pitch to go over and give Kingswood a 5-0 lead.

4 minutes later and Steve Trevelyan grabbed Kingswood's 2nd try when a penalty was kicked to touch and the resulting lineout was won and a powerful rolling maul crashed over the Imperial try-line. Dean Stephens converted and the score was 12-0.

14 minutes on the clock and Imperial were beginning to put Kingswood under a bit of pressure, however, an Imperial pass was spilt and gathered by Kingswood. A quick passing move went out to John Bogan who ran rings around the Imperial players before going over to get Kingswood's 3rd try. Again Dean Stephens converted and the score was 19-0.

23 minutes gone and a Kingswood lineout was gathered by Ben Feltham who crashed over to grab his first try in just under 2 years to make the score 24-0.

6 minutes later and I was starting to get writers cramp, but more importantly another Kingswood lineout was brought down and a rolling maul drove towards the Imperial try-line which was finished off by Steve Trevelyan who grabbed his 2nd try of the match. Dean Stephens converted again and the score was 31-0

With 4 minutes left of the half, Ben Phillips scored his 2nd try of the game when he picked the ball off the back of a Kingswood scrum, dodged a couple of attempted tackles and went over. Dean Stephens excellent kicking display continued and he converted to make the score 38-0 at half time.

Half Time: Kingswood 38 - 0 Imperial

Kingswood started the 2nd half as if there hadn't been a break and there was only a few minutes on the clock when a slick passing move from Kingswood was finished off by Dean Stephens. Dean Stephens converted his 5th kick and the score was 45-0.

Imperial were showing no signs of scoring or even generating a chance against Kingswood and their heads were beginning to drop. On 45 minutes Kingswood won their lineout and another maul was formed, Neil Ward ran off the back and passed a ball out to Ben Phillips who kicked the bouncing pass over the Imperial defence. John Bogan dived on the loose ball before popping it back up to Ben Phillips who went over to grab his 3rd try of the game. 50-0.

Kingswood continued to dominate the game and on 52 minutes a nice passing move between Stan Bailey and Ian Kirley found it's way out to Shaun Voisey who powered through the Imperial defence to grab Kingswood's 9th try of the match. 55-0.

There was more of the same 5 minutes later when another flowing move was finished of by Paul Allen to make the score 60-0.

Straight from the restart Paul Allen broke away and it looked like he was going to score is 2nd try in as many minutes but he unselfishly passed the ball out to Mark McGarrigle who went over to score Kingswood's 11th try. Dean Stephens converted his 6th kick to make the score 67-0.

Kingswood looked like they were heading for a 3 figure score line but with just 27 minutes played of the 2nd half, the referee decided enough was enough and blew the final whistle to end yet another impressive performance by Kingswood.
