U8s Vs Dings & Barton Hill Home

It was a wet muddy start to the day with pitches that could be used for any high-class mud wrestling event. The Knights were hosting Dings and Barton Hill. Barton Hill couldn't quite field a squad so Dings loaned a player and Ethan volunteered to make up the numbers. Being the last game before Christmas the players decided to have festive team names. The two teams were the Turkeys; which consisted of Jack F, James, Jack W, Zane V, Sadie-May and Jacob, and the second-team the Reindeers; made up of Alfred, Ollie, Zane C, Ryan C, Will and Lilly.

Game 1, Reindeers.

The reindeers first game was against Barton Hill. The pitch conditions made the game very difficult for both teams, however the fantastic passing and support by Kingswood gave them the victory:
Kingswood 12 - 6 Barton Hill.

Game 2, Turkeys.

The Turkeys is faced off against Dings for their first game. There were 7 Dings players against our 6. Great play by the whole team gave them a victory too:
Kingswood 13-11 Dings.

Game 3, Reindeers.

It was the turn of the Reindeers to face Dings. Fantastic defensive work led to another win for the notes. Final score:
Kingswood 12-9 Dings.

Game 4, Turkeys.

The final game of the day was the turkeys against Barton Hill. The turkeys managed to keep the unbeaten run going and closed out the day:
Kingswood 12-10 Barton Hill.
