Great defensive work won the day.

Game 1, Brown team; Ollie, Alfred, Will, Fin, Ethan, Lilly, Olivia.

Walcot took the start on the first muddy game of the day. Great defensive work from the Knights turned the ball over and speedy Ollie grabbed the first try of the game. Another turnover by Kingswood gave Will a chance to make a run, popping the ball out to Fin who in turn fed it to Liv. A great pass to Alfred saw him score to put the Knights 2 points up. Walcot recovered well with a try and when the slippery mud sent Ollie just into touch on his attempt; Walcot took the impetus to draw the game even. The next play contained some great rugby with the ball going through the hands of Ollie, Will and Alfred before the mud took another victim into touch. Walcot scored again, which was countered by a Liv run and an offload to speedy gon-Ollie to score. Walcot and Kingswood jotted up another score each and just as a promising turnover by the Knights looked to set up another try; the half time whistle went at 4-4.

Ethan started the second half getting the ball to Lilly who shot it across to Ollie, but the slippery ball evaded his grip and was recovered by Walcot who went through the Knight's defence to take the lead. Kingswood immediately corrected that via Will, Ollie, Alfred and the ball eventually appeared in the hands of Ethan who weaved through the back 2 Walcot players to ground the ball. Walcot caught the Knights off-guard with a simple straight run to the line. This seemed to irritate Ethan so he returned the favour with a run of his own right from Lilly's starting pass. The Kingswood passages of play were not perfect but the effort and determination saw Alfred score and a long pass from Ollie gave Fin his first try of the game. Walcot got 2 more but the Knights team came together and Liv assisted for another try each by Ollie and Fin. A Walcot try in the last seconds of the game gave a final score:
Kingswood 10 - 10 Walcot.

Game 3, Black team; Jacob, Amelia, Charlie, James, Jack W, Zane V, Jack F.

Walcot didn't waste any time in getting a point on the board from the start. The Knights responded well with a great pass from Charlie to Jack W, who was able to offload to a well placed Zane when he was tagged, the ball then went to James to even the score. Kingswood turned over the Walcot restart and Amelia fed the ball to Zane, again supported by James who carried the ball over for his second try. Excellent consecutive tagging work by Jack F turned the ball over again, Charlie was on fire and almost outpaced the defence but in the end he popped the ball to Jack W to score. Walcot seemed to get a second wind and first scored, then turned over the ball to get another point on the board after another great opportunistic run by Charlie. James made a run from the Kingswood restart and with Jack F on his shoulder to receive;the try was grounded by Jack F. The Knights looked good to close out the first half in front after a Walcot knock-on, but Walcot weren't ready to roll over and after turning the ball they drew the scoreline back even at 4-4.

The second half started off with a Jacob fed try for the little Ks scored by Jack F. Walcot came back but the teamwork of Charlie and Zane sent the ball between them with Charlie taking the initiative and the try! Walcot scored and a questionably offside turnover gave them another. Undeterred the Knights regrouped and the ball sped through the hands of Jacob, Charlie and Jack W to end up in the possession of Vickery Jr who masterfully skidded in the mud to score. Walcot followed with a try of their own which was answered by another rocket fuelled run by Charlie. A wonderful play by Jacob, Zane and Charlie ended with the ball being grounded a whisker short of the line denying Charlie his hat-trick. Walcot tries intermingled the fantastic offload by Amelia to set up another James try. With the score 1 point to the good for Walcot, they turned the ball over and proceeded to score again! Just as it looked like a 2 point gap would be the result; an inspired run by Charlie gave James the space to close the gap to 1 before the final whistle. Final score Kingswood 10 - 11 Walcot.

Player of the match was presented to George for his determination and multitasking ability to pick his tag up with the ball on the way to the try line.
