Whitehall vs Kingswood Knights U14's

The weather was cold but dry for the Knights third game against Whitehall this season. Whitehall made an early break for their try line and were chased down and stopped by Jacob. Both teams looked strong in defence but it was Whitehall who got the first try. Callum scored a try for Kingswood several minutes later to equalise. Despite excellent defending from Kingswood and some great individual tackles Whitehall managed to get two more tries on the score sheet before half time.
The second half started with Whitehall scoring twice in quick succession, the game was slipping away from Kingswood and the boys were looking tired but still giving it their all. The ball soon travelled down to the Kingswood line and Jake scored for Kingswood. The game was turning into a battle royal with strong tackles put in by Joe, Jordan and Mikey ...but Whitehall seemed unstoppable and another try for the home team followed. Kingwood continue to fight on and Jake score once again for Kingswood this was quickly followed up with Josh score a try. The final score was Whitehall 37 Kingswood 24. Coach Derek felt that the score did not reflect how hard Kingswood had tried.
