Kingswood Knights V Broadplain

This cold November morning saw Kingswood facing an old adversary ..Broadplain. Kingswood got off to an amazing start with a try and conversion by Jake within the first two minutes of play. This made Broadplain take notice and the game got physical very quickly with crunching tackles put in by both sides especially from George, Cam and Mikey for Kingswood. Eventually Broadplain got the ball away and scored a try. Broadplain kept the pressure up and promptly scored twice more before half time. This was turning into a difficult game for Kingswood especially as the team was hampered by injury and unavailability meaning that several players were playing out of position.
The second half continued with the lads putting up a good fight. Joe , Billy,Dylan and Henry all got stuck in making an impression on Broadplain. Sadly Kingswood were soon down to fourteen as Chris went off injured. Despite some great defending by Kingswood Broadplain got another two tries on the score sheet. Down but not out Kingswood player Callum scored a well deserved try having had good support from Jordan, Lewis and Josh. Within minutes Jake scored again for Kingswood with the score at 27/19 to Broadplain the final whistle blew.
