Midsomerton Norton V Kingswood Knights

A two minute silence was observed by players and spectators prior to kick off for this windy Remembrance day match. The game got off to a bad start for Kingswood with Norton scoring seven points within the first two minutes. Kingswood fought back to win the next two scrums. Determined rucking and mauling kept the ball down the Kingswood end. The next scrum was won by Norton and despite strong tackles from Jordan and Dylan the ball found its way into Norton hands and their second try followed. Norton were on form and scored three more tries in quick succession. New boy Callum came on for his first game and quickly got stuck in with some great tackles. However fresh legs weren't enough to stop scoring Norton again. With the half time whistle about to blow Jake made a dash for the Kingswood, try line and won seven points for the Knights
Kingswood got stuck in for the second half with Callum, Jacob and Cam all putting in crunching tackles against the opposition. The next scrum was won by Kingswood and supported by Tom Jake broke away and scored Kingswoods second try of the game. Despite the wind howling a gale Jake managed to convert the try. Norton retaliated by scoring two further tries. However , Kingswood had not given up and fought to the end with Lewis scoring a try just before the final whistle blew. A good game was played by all the lads against a strong opponent.
