Senior Annual Subs are now due. Please make sure you read the following important information.

The club is investing a lot of time and money into the development programme, both on and off the field, as evidenced by the recent improvements of the training facilities through floodlight and pitch improvements
- Jim Stacey, Chairman

A message from Chairman, Jim Stacey.

As we are all now aware, the rugby season has finally started and whilst this is great news for everybody, it is also that time of the year when the club requires you to pay your annual subs. Sharon Bryant, our new Membership Secretary, will be at the club every Saturday for the next 3 weeks to collect your annual subs. I will also be at the club on a Tuesday and Thursday if you would rather pay during the week.

Please note that in order to be eligible for selection in October, every player needs to have either paid in full or made a substantial payment towards the annual subscription. At the end of the month a list of all players that have paid, part paid or not paid at all will be published and posted on the wall at the clubhouse. Anybody that has not a contribution without a good reason (if you do have a concern please speak to myself or Neil Ward as Players Rep) will not be eligible for selection and the coaches will be informed of this.

The subscriptions are as follows:

Annual Playing Membership - £65 (this equates to £1.25 per week)

Touch Team - £30 (this equates to 57p per week).

(NB: If you have paid a full playing membership and also represent the touch team, you will not be required to pay an additional £30)

Social Membership - £15 (this equates to 28p per week)

Discounts are offered for students and the unemployed. Please speak to Jim to discuss.

Match day subs remain at £5 per week.

What do I get for my membership?

Players get paid coaches and training facilities paid for on a Tuesday & Thursday, with the coach looking after the 1st XV on Saturday’s.

A Club Physio at a discounted price of £25, reduced from the standard charge of £39 per session.

Players get a Sunday morning injury assessment clinic free of charge provided by the physio. (As long as you arrange the appointment by text or phone call on the Saturday evening).

Medical Kit bags provided for all teams.

Training and playing equipment for all teams is provided.

The club is also providing the 1st XV and 2nd XV with new shirts and warm up tops for the 1st XV. The club looks after and ensures all kits are fresh and clean every week.

As requested, and by popular demand from the members the club, will be operating a 2 tier pricing structure on the bar. On the 1st Saturday in October the club will publish the new standard bar tariff and members will get a discounted price on this tariff when they show their membership card to the bar staff. For the next 3 weeks whilst subs are being paid, everybody will experience the reduced bar tariff after that the price will increase for non-members.

The club is investing a lot of time and money into the development programme, both on and off the field, as evidenced by the recent improvements both in terms of the training facilities through floodlight and pitch improvements and the redevelopment of the clubhouse and kitchen. Please make every effort to do your bit and pay your subs on time.
