Rugby Force Day - Bacon, Building, Then Beer

2 weeks ago By Alan Bell

All hands on deck to help prepare the clubhouse for the new season.

Rugby Force Day, one of the most vital days in our calendar, will take place on Saturday 18th August. This is the day when we need all hands on deck to help prepare the clubhouse for the new season. We will need all trades and any ability levels to help undertake essential maintenance to the clubhouse. Whether a professional tradesman, an expert DIY-er, or just someone who is willing to shift stuff around and make cups of tea, this is open to all members, parents & players at the club, of any ability. We will begin by offering free bacon sandwiches, before we turn our attention to the trusted whiteboard to see what needs doing. Finally, once the work draws to a close, there will be 1 or 2 free pints for those who have given their precious time for the good of the club. This year we have roof tiles to sort, cubicles to repair and walls that require jet washing, and much, much more. So much to do in a short space of time, so all hands on deck would be appreciated. Let's make this a clubhouse that makes us #proudtobekings
