Kingswood’s squad received a huge boost this week after it was revealed that one of their most prolific try scorers, Paul Allen, would be returning to the fold. The light-footed Centre was a mainstay in the 1st XV line-up until work commitments called him away. However, with his duties now complete, Allen has revealed that he will be returning home to the club he loves.

In the 3 seasons that covered the 2007-2010 glory years, Allen finished with the golden boot on all 3 occasions, amassing a colossal 87 points from 17 tries in 2007/08, a staggering 151 points and 29 tries in 2008/09 and 88 points from 17 tries in 2009/10. The next 2 seasons saw tougher opposition and less games for Allen, but he was still able to pull grab 10 tries and lots of assist for his Centre partner at the time, James Willmott.

With only a few games gone in the 15/16 season, both Allen and Kingswood are hoping he can hit the form of yesteryear and help the team to the promotion for which they strive.
