It's been an issue for several seasons, but now finally our pitches and training areas are in for a 3 day course of VIP (Very Important Pitch) treatment.

Starting tomorrow, all sections of the field of dreams will be subjected to a 3 day shockwave soil treatment, with the aim being to severely disrupt the compacted soil and allow rain water to reach the old drainage pipes located underneath.

This is hopefully the start of some major works to our pitches over the coming months, with plans in place to replace the french drain at the bottom of the slope to catch rain water run-off from the top pitch as well which should keep the bottom pitch as dry as possible.
