A warm, sunny morning in Nailsea & Backwell was the perfect setting last Sunday for the Kingswood RFC girls teams first ever Touch Rugby Festival.
12 keen girls from the Under 13, 15 & 18 teams turned out to take on Minehead, Weston Hornets, Avonmouth and Bristol Telephones.
The girls came out fighting and were often towered over by some much bigger and older looking opponents, but this didn't put them off and overall the girls played really well with some great attacking play, awesome handling skills and powerful running from the deep (especially Grace & Amy). All the girls played great as a team and the support for each other was very encouraging.

Well done girls, you made your coach, parents and the Mighty K proud!
